No make-up auditions
This is a placement audition in which all BADA students auditioning will receive a part in this ballet.
Criteria for auditioning:
*A minimum of ONE year of Ballet and/or Contemporary/Lyrical experience.
*Must be registered and taking class in Ballet and/or Contemporary/Lyrical at BADA.
*1st grade Ballet students must be in the Ballet Program (Ballet 8).
*Dancers may audition in BOTH Ballet and Contemporary/Lyrical if they meet the above requirements. Contemporary/Lyrical ONLY dancers will be cast in Contemporary/Lyrical roles only. Ballet ONLY dancers will be cast in ballet roles only. Those students in BOTH Ballet and Contemporary/Lyrical at BADA may audition for both. We reserve the right to place a Contemporary/Lyrical student in a Contemporary/Lyrical role before placing a Ballet AND Contemporary/Lyrical dancer in a Contemporary/Lyrical role.
*Parent & Dancer must attend ANY ONE meeting. Parent & Dancer do not have to attend the same meeting. If possible, please attend a meeting held BEFORE dancer’s first audition. If that is not possible, you may attend any of the other meetings listed below. Arrive 20 minutes prior to the meeting time to fill out all necessary paperwork. A rehearsal schedule will be given out at this time. Please review closely to confirm your availability for rehearsal as specific rehearsals are mandatory. Please do not audition if you are not available for this commitment!!!!
*Audition fee = $25/each audition ($50 if auditioning in both Ballet AND Contemporary/Lyrical).

11:00a - 11:45a
12:00p - 12:45p
1:00p - 1:45p
2:00 - 2:45p
AUDITION Times:
*Contemporary/Lyrical 3rd-7th Grade = 11:00-12:00
*Ballet 8, 7 & 6 = 12:00-1:00
*Ballet 5 & 4 = 1:00-2:00
*Contemporary/Lyrical 8th Grade & Older = 2:00-3:00
*Ballet 3, 2 & 1 = 3:00-4:30
NOTE: We reserve the right for call backs- if so, you do not have to attend another meeting or pay a second fee.
Cast list will be posted on Tuesday, October 3, after 4:30pm on the front door.
